The Federal Supreme Court was judged by the unconstitutionality of Article 14/1st of the third amendment of the Governorates incorporated into a Region Law.

The Federal Supreme Court issued a decision on the numbered case 118 /federal / 2019 in 2/5/2021 for Governorates Councils and decided to judge that article 14/1st of Law No. 10 of 2018 (Third Amendment Law of the Governorates incorporated into a Region Law number 21 for 2008) is unconstitutional which concerning the work continuity of Governorates and Districts councils.
