Notice about the Federal Supreme Court's decision that the Oil and Gas Law of Kurdistan Region is unconstitutional

 The Federal Supreme Court issued its decision on (59/Federal/2012 unified with 110/Federal /2019) on 15 February 2022 based on the provisions of articles (110, 111, 110, 115, 121 and 130) of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq (2005), especially since the decision of a U.S. court and according to a lawsuit by the plaintiff of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and the defendant of the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Kurdistan Regional Government, the decision was appealed by the appellant Kurdistan regional government of Iraq and issued by the U.S. Court of Appeals on December 21, 2015, the Fifth Circuit, its decision which included that the Kurdistan Regional Government filed this appeal and through its voluntary approval of the unloading of the shipment in Israel, thus weakening the KRG's argument on the subject of the appeal and ending the decision (for the reasons mentioned earlier we approve to the ministry's request) (The Iraqi Ministry of Oil to rejects this appeal). So it is in the superior interest of Iraq and its people to resolve the numbered case (59/federal/2012 unified with 110/federal /2019) and issue the decision according to it.
