The President of the Republic receives the President and members of the Federal Supreme Court

    His Excellency the President of the Republic, Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received, on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Aboud Al-Omiri, and the judges members of the Court.

The meeting reviewed ways to enhance coordination and joint cooperation between the authorities to enhance the state of stability, preserve law and preserve rights and freedoms.

His Excellency the President of the Republic stressed the need to respect the Constitution and abide by its provisions, pointing to the role of the Federal Court in protecting the constitutional order, and that the existence of an independent and immunized judiciary is the way to a secure and stable Iraq.

For his part, Judge Jassim Al-Omiri stressed that the Federal Court performs its duties in accordance with the Constitution and the law, in a way that guarantees the interests of the people and the country and promotes national unity, praising at the same time the support and assistance of the presidency institution for its work and legal procedures.
