The President of the Federal Supreme Court receives the Speaker of the Council of Representatives

      The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, received in his office on Tuesday, 24/12/2024, the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Mahmoud Al-Mashhadani.

The President of the Federal Supreme Court welcomed the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, and the two parties stressed the role of the Court in implementing the Constitution and adhering to the limits of the constitutional competencies of the federal authorities.

The two sides pointed to working in accordance with the principle of separation of powers, and stressed the necessity of integration and cooperation, in a way that contributes to building a sound democratic system based on the principle of peaceful rotation of power and the participation of all in political life. 

The meeting discussed the achievement of these goals in a way that contributes to preserving the unity of Iraq and building a modern civil state based on citizenship.
