President of the Federal Supreme Court receives the Minister of Defense

   The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, received in his office today, Wednesday, 15/1/2025, the Minister of Defense, Mr. Thabet Mohammed Al-Abbasi.

The President of the Federal Supreme Court welcomed the Minister, and the two parties discussed the role of the Court in consolidating the general principles contained in the Constitution, especially those related to the preservation of public rights and freedoms, and cooperation between the authorities in order to serve the Iraqi people.

The two sides also discussed the important role of the decisions issued by the Federal Supreme Court, which ensured the application of the provisions of the Constitution of the Republic of Iraq for the year 2005.
