The President of the Federal Supreme Court receives the Prime Minister

  The President of the Federal Supreme Court, Judge Jassim Mohammed Abboud, and the members of the Federal Court received, on Sunday, 22/1/2023, the Prime Minister, Mr. Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani. 

A statement issued by the media of the Federal Supreme Court stated that "the two parties discussed several files, including those related to the Federal Supreme Court and its role in protecting the constitution and public and private rights and freedoms, emphasizing the principle of the rule of law and the peaceful transfer of power through the democratic means stipulated in the constitution, as well as stressing the need to overcome the political, economic and social challenges facing the Iraqi people and the current government, and that Iraq, under its history and its economic and human capabilities, can build a strong modern civil state. based on citizenship."

The two parties stressed that "the bane of corruption needs a real national intention to fight it, and that the Iraqi people, with their moral components, can overcome them because the values of the Iraqi people reject everything that contradicts them, and despite all the challenges, the Iraqi people, in general, reject everything that contradicts moral and national principles and is determined by all its nationalities and components to build its state."
