The Federal Supreme Court transcends the supremacy of the constitution and failure prosecutes those who try to politicize it or offend it in the media

   The correspondent of the Federal Supreme Court confirmed this day, 20/3/2024, that the purpose of the Federal Supreme Court's exercise of its competencies is the correct application of the constitution, in a way that guarantees the unity of Iraq and the building of a representative parliamentary democratic republican system, based on the peaceful rotation of power and the fair distribution of wealth, in addition to other constitutional foundations, for the purpose of building the state in a way that achieves the spread of justice, lifting injustice, preserving public funds and employing them for the benefit of the people and achieving the rule of law, and this calls for what it calls for all authorities must abide by the limits of their constitutional competence,  local authorities should not exercise the exclusive competences of the federal authorities, as this concerns the sovereignty and unity of the country, with the local authorities of regions or governorates not organized in a region exercising the other competencies, and taking into account the common competencies between the federal and local authorities.

The court's correspondent stated that the Federal Supreme Court is exposed, as a result of its decisions taken to preserve the constitution, to an internal and external media attack to discourage it from completing its constitutional duties towards the homeland and the people, and we believe that this attack is politicized aimed at harming the reputation of the Federal Supreme Court and targeting its legitimacy, and is considered a violation of the independence of the judiciary, which requires taking all necessary legal means to deter and thwart it.
