The Federal Supreme Court intends to issue and dedicate a book to the Union of Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils

Baghdad/ Media of Federal Supreme Court    

    The Federal Supreme Court intends to print a book entitled (Challenges of the Constitutional Judiciary in the Performance of its Duties) issued by the Union of Arab Constitutional Courts and Councils, which includes the research participating in the eleventh scientific forum for Arab constitutional courts and councils held in Cairo for the period from (13-15/12/2022). 

The media of the Federal Supreme Court stated that "the research that will be included in the book is submitted by ladies and gentlemen, presidents and members of the constitutional and supreme courts and councils in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Republic of Iraq, the State of Palestine, the State of Kuwait, the Republic of Lebanon, the Libyan Arab Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Yemen.

The media office of the Federal Supreme Court mentioned that "the forum resulted in many decisions, including the printing of this book at the expense of the Federal Supreme Court in Iraq and gifted to the Union, in order to activate the work of the Union and enrich the members with the constitutional principles listed in the decisions issued by them referred to in the participating research, which embodies the real desire to apply the provisions of the Constitution and prevent its violation, protect rights and freedoms and the principles of democracy, and activate the principle of working in the state of institutions and the peaceful transfer of power."

Pointed out that "these researches included discussions and jurisprudential opinions that reflect the extent of scientific and practical constitutional jurisprudential development enjoyed by constitutional judicial institutions at the level of the Arab world and their representatives, and the role of their presidents and members, in enriching them, in proportion to the task assigned to them, which is to protect the constitution and prevent the violation of its provisions and prevent the violation of the lofty principles it contains.
