The Federal Supreme Court issues a ruling confirming its role in protecting public funds

The Federal Supreme Court judged in a ruling issued in a public session and by the agreement of all its members to dismiss the challenge to the constitutionality of the text of Article (19/4th) of the Integrity Commission Law No. 30 of 2011, as amended by Law No. 30 of 2017, which stipulated ((The court shall rule to refund the value of the illicit gain, and the convicted persons shall not be released following items (2nd) and (3rd) of this article until after paying the fine amount and refunding the value of the illegal gain. Execution of the judgment by reimbursement of the value of the illicit gain thereof.
It is a legislative option for the House of Representatives under its constitutional competence to legislate federal laws and came for organizational and procedural matters aimed at protecting public funds in accordance with Article (27/1st) of the Constitution, which stresses the sanctity of public funds and that protecting them is a duty for every citizen.
