The Federal Supreme Court issued a state order to stop and block all pornographic websites throughout the Republic of Iraq

    On Thursday 12/14/2023, the Federal Supreme Court issued a state order No. (325 / Federal / State Order / 2023) based on the request submitted by Representative Bassem Khazal Khashan, the plaintiff in case No. (325/ Federal/2023), which included his request to issue a state order. By blocking pornographic websites until the aforementioned lawsuit is decided.

The correspondent of the Federal Supreme Court stated that the court decided, based on the provisions of Article (39) of the Internal Regulations of the Federal Supreme Court No. (1) of 2022, to rule obligating both the Minister of Communications and the Head of the Media and Communications Commission, in addition to their duties, to stop and block all pornographic sites throughout the Republic of Iraq. A state order binding on all authorities and issued unanimously.
